BOSTON — Strengthening ties between the United States and Cape Verde was among the topics on the table Friday, when Sen. Marc R. Pacheco hosted Jorge Carlos Fonseca, president of Cape Verde, at the Statehouse.
Pacheco said in a news release that the delegation discussed a number of major issues including increased economic coordination and the expansion of Cape Verde's clean energy future. The latter represents an important economic opportunity for Massachusetts' high-tech clean energy industry, Pacheco said.
